​Who we are looking for?

This a fantastic opportunity for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic draftsperson to work on various projects within the Mackay Region and Bowen Basin.

This role will provide the opportunity for a long-term career in the pumping and water treatment industry with variety across a range of pipework, pumping and water treatment design.

The successful candidate will either currently reside in Mackay or be willing to relocate and will have the opportunity to develop and grow among a team of experienced engineers and associated professionals.

Candidates will required the ability to:

  • Perform the drafting requirements for the Engineering & Projects team
  • Communicate and liaise with internal/external customers to ensure accuracy and meet deadlines
  • Ensure conformance to specifications, standards and other regulatory requirements
  • Aid in the development of conceptual designs including technical specifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates must:

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience 
  • Proficiency in Autodesk – CAD or 3D Inventor
  • Demonstrate a high level of verbal and written communication skills 
  • Be legally permitted to work in Australia 
  • Perform the drafting requirements for the Engineering & Projects team 
  • Ensure conformance to specifications, standards and other regulatory requirements
  • Aid in the development of conceptual designs including technical specifications.


EXPERIENCE WITH AUTODESK 3D INVENTOR IS AN ADVANTAGE.
